The album "Eesti klaver" is a deep homage to Estonian piano masters, under whose hands many different pianos have been made during 236 years.
Since the year 2000, i.e. the year of the beginning of more active research of Estonian piano history, 2 to 3 hitherto unknown or unrecorded pianos have been discovered every year. All this confirms that the information we know about Estonian pianos is far from exhaustive and new surprises can come at every step.

In terms of quality, Estonian pianos have competed with the quality of Europe's largest manufacturers for decades. From this point of view, Estonian pianos deserve more attention in general, especially since several instruments have been behind the leading piano construction technologies of their time and the top of their field - Ernst Hiis, Jaan Rässa, Jaan and Tõnis Olbrei, Eugen Sprenk with his composer brother Aleksander Läte, Hermann Jurak and others. .
